Thank you for sharing Reply Pam Lowe on June 17, 2018 at 1:52 pm Hi Petra, I watched your recent video into wk 6/18, & your upcoming webinar on 6/19/18 8PM. You mentioned a stock I was in $IPI for a quick swing trade and would like to share my experience. While I am still learning, & without a mentor at this time, I have much to learn, while dabbling these past 18mos, & learning is a lifetime experience. My goals seem simple, but without a mentor, it is difficult to become a better investor, so I continue to learn all I can, & as much as I can, Petra has been a key instrument in that learning process. I have come to realize 2 key things critically important in TA & this learning process, nothing matters but price action & charts, all the rest seems to be interference & noise except for FA on a stock & how it relates to an investment I’m in or looking to get in. The chart while still learning is key, as it should tell me when to buy & sell a stock based on trends, volume & price action. Since I’m still learning, I would like to share a recent trade Petra is watching the week of 6/18/18, and why a ‘Watch’ is just that, not a ‘buy’ until your ‘plan’ to buy the stock is met with the strictest commitment to stick to your plan. I realized when I bought Thursday 6/14/18, that $IPI was a bad buy, & although the closing price, volume action in the stock Friday 6/15/18 was promising, it was still not a buy to me at this point which is why I exited this stock Thursday with a small $10 loss, but a lesson well learned. I did not follow the rules here with this buy on $IPI, i.e. the chart, the price action, volume Vs, instead I ignored key indicators, & instead focused on the 50/200dma range seeming to be a good entry into the stock, it was not. I allowed the later to guide my decision, this is a bad move because while a stock may be in range of the 50/200 or 3x8x20 cross, it may not be the right time to enter the stock to reduce risk, & reep reward, which is why having a mentor to teach you trends, and charts, is critical to becoming a successful investor. I got out of $IPI with a small $10 loss. Although significant volume at the close as mentioned in your video on Friday 6/15/18, I did not re-enter for the following reasons. The lesson for me here was, the ‘chart’ which has been in a downtrend since mid May, as Petra stated in her recent video today 6/17/18 Sunday, we look for the higher hods, lods, & price action, volume, on the chart to determine our buy, & sell points. The key in this chart was Friday to watch the stock, not buy the stock as yet. When a stock like $IPI, is reversing off a downtrend pattern since May, then produces higher hods, lods, price action & volume, makes this a stock to Watch, for your buy points as displayed in Petra video, & the chart showed the move that made this a viable Watch not Buy just because the stock was in a range, doesn’t mean the stock is a buy at that point. I learn each time I watch one of Petra video, why I’m still learning, and must be careful about everything I do. Which is now why Petra is watching this stock in the week of 6/18/18 which was based clearly on Friday stock action not Thursday when I bought the stock wrong. I am posting this, to show others, & myself while you know a little, there is much to learn to reduce risk, reap reward. When investing whatever your style of trading, day trader, swing trader or LT investor, learning is key. It’s important to have the right platform, screens to help you make the best decisions when studying charts, and the right mentor. If you trade with any brokerage firm i.e. fidelity, ameritrade, each have trading platforms & websites to use. But none of these firms will teach you, train you, how to become a successful investor, if your lucky they may give you .30-.45 one’s over on their platform none of which is helpful but can be harmful if unfamiliar with the platform. The right mentor can help you achieve your goals, and learn how to become a successful investor. I have followed Petra since Jan 18′, she is an awesome instructor, passionate, willing to teach, and willing to share valuable knowledge. information, and guide you to achieve those goals. I have not found any other mentor thus far, that takes the time to share knowledge as Petra, to offer free videos, webinars to help others she has never met into becoming successful investors. And with that, encourage any reader to consider her services., as will I to continue to learn. When people are open to prove their value through their competence, it’s easier to notice the ones likely to organize people and to take initiative. The leaders of tomorrow are among those. Thank you Petra. Sincerely, Pam Reply Petra Hess on June 17, 2018 at 4:22 pm Hi Pam, Thank you for the letter and I appreciate how you talked about your trade and getting out with a small loss. I love teaching people and that is my focus every morning when I wake up. I want to help people become confident traders. Petra Reply Valerie Voitus on July 8, 2018 at 11:25 am Hello Petra, I attended your webinar on June 19th. The email you sent for us the next day; Two Free Gifts For You does not include the Sizing Calculator I was really looking forward to. The link for the calculator has a link to a Member Logon Page, not an Excel Page. Is there a possibility that I can get that link for the calculator; I did stay for your whole webinar! I am eager to implement your teachings. Many thanks, Valerie Reply Petra Hess on July 8, 2018 at 2:01 pm Hi, It was up for a week after the webinar and I took it down. I will offer it again in the future. Petra Reply Submit a Comment Cancel reply Your email address will not be published.
